Further From Heaven is a confrontational, autobiographical work tracing a decade’s worth of profile photos, anecdotes, chat histories, screenshots, dick pics, and poems shared by way of gay hookup apps. In juxtaposing the hyperreal invention of self in the digital world with the formation of the author’s fluctuating gender and erotic identifications, Further From Heaven incites a queer ethos toward sex, love, play, and desire on and offline.
