January 28, 2023 @ 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Join a conversation about self-publishing and finding your voice, hosted by the Bureau of General Services – Queer Division. The speakers are Fashion Photographer and author of NAKNA and Face of Beauty, Mikael Shultz; and illustrator and author of A Visual Diary, and Jojoba, Anthony Amiewalan. They will discuss their process of self-publishing their books, share their respective works through reading and photo essays, and the influence their gay identities has in their art. Darius Somers, Pratt University professor, and architect, will guide the discussion, revealing the various themes that shape the presenters’ work.
