Join us for this triple theater feature celebrating the release of three new plays!

As coastlines disappear and lives are uprooted, a drifting community of warehouse workers travels from one temporary home to the next. Among loading docks and parking lots, they search for missing loved ones—and for meaning. Both intimate and rebellious, In the Amazon Warehouse Parking Lot is a striking new play about connection, survival, and finding love where you least expect it.

Winner of the Susan Smith Blackburn prize 2023, Sarah Mantell’s compelling dystopian and highly theatricalized world features a flexible cast of 7 female, nonbinary, and trans actors. Originally produced at Playwrights Horizons in New York City, this is the first publication of this celebrated contemporary play.

Meanwhile, 22 years in the future, two lab assistants hatch a plan that could change the world in Kate Douglas’ The Apiary. Bees are extinct, only kept alive inside synthetic apriaries where they live in perpetual spring.

And begin to crave flesh. As the bees begin t othrive, lab assistants Zora and Pilar must satiate their new appetites.

Noah Diaz’s You Will Get Sick  is a dark comedy in second person about learning how to live within your body as you find your way home.It was a finalist for both the Henry Award for Outstanding New Play and The John Gassner Award for New American Play at the Outer Critics Circle Awards.

Get a taste for all three works and discuss the works with the authors and special guest moderator Emmanuel Wilson.

Copies of the plays will be available for purchase. There will be a signing after the event.
