Join Barbara Carrellas, beloved author of The Urban Tantra and Ecstasy is Necessary, to celebrate the launch of her new book, The Book of Ecstasy: Opening Yourself Up to Erotic Energy—In All Its Forms, at the Bureau.

Barbara will be joined by her partner, queer icon Kate Bornstein, for a conversation about our embodied experience of the erotic and ecstatic and offer a fiercely inclusive and radically affirming path to ecstasy—for every body, in every season of life.

RSVP TO THIS EVENT

Blending practical tools, spirituality, and decades of embodied experience, The Book of Ecstasy offers a fiercely inclusive and radically affirming path to ecstasy—for every body, in every season of life. Ecstasy is a deeply personal and accessible experience of joy, aliveness, and connection—not something reserved for mystics or perfect bodies, but available to anyone willing to listen to their own truth. This is a book for anyone who has ever felt left out of mainstream conversations about sex, pleasure, or identity—especially those seeking “something more” beyond the norm.

After the conversation there will be time for Barbara to sign copies of The Book of Ecstasy, which will be available for purchase at the Bureau!
