A rare and fleeting consciousness-lowering event celebrating Trolling for Dick in Argentina — the outrageous, tender, and unfiltered story of Rumi Missabu, a crazy gender bending, radical performer and Cockette who refused to say no and lived at the end of his imagination. For 35 years, Rumi didn’t have a driver’s license or a Social Security number. He only carried a library card that said Rumi Missabu. Join us for a reading and an exploration of his archive, which offers a glimpse into the glittering chaos, radical love, and constant self-invention that shaped his life. Readers include: August Bernadicou, Jackie Rudin, Agosto Machado, Mike Payne, and MORE!
To reserve a copy of Trolling for Dick in Argentina (paperback, $15) please write to us at contact@bgsqd.com with “please reserve Trolling for Dick in Argentina for January 22 event” in the subject line.
