SUMMARY:Author Event: Riley Black’s Tyrant Lizard Queen
DESCRIPTION:RSVP TO THIS EVENT HERE \nIn her latest prehistoric nature walk\, bestselling and award-winning author Riley Black follows the life of plucky T. rex Snaggletooth from the time she hatches through her tumultuous adulthood. The prehistoric forest Snag emerges into is full of danger\, and yet\, as Riley bases Snaggletooth’s life on the latest scientific discoveries\, the carnivorous dinosaur survives to play\, court\, fight\, sleep\, nest\, and more as she grows up in Cretaceous North America. She tussles with rival tyrannosaurs\, hunts for delectable prey\, and finds soft moments of connection in the forest. \nThe latest from your favorite trans paleontologist’s favorite trans paleontologist\, Riley Black! Join us for a conversation on how a million things had to go right for this extinct queen to shine. \nCopies of the book will be available for purchase. There will be a signing after the event. \nThe Bureau of General Services—Queer Division is Manhattan’s queer bookstore\, located on the second floor of the LGBT Center. We’re open Tuesday-Sunday from 1-7pm and accessible by the 6th Ave 1 2 3 L trains and 8th Ave A C E trains. Our cafe\, The Bureau Cafe\, is open Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-7pm.
